R. Ignatz, 91, of 211 S. Laird St., White Pigeon, Mich., died Sept. 13,
2008, at his home due to natural causes. He was born June 7, 1917, in
White Pigeon, a son of Ross and Eva (Zook) Ignatz. He lived in the
White Pigeon area his entire life and was a graduate of White Pigeon
High School as class salutatorian and a graduate of Parsons Business
College in Kalamazoo, Mich. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946

Ind. — Wesley “Randy” Blanton, age 58 of rural Williamsport, Ind. died
unexpectedly at his home at 4:57 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008. Randy was
born in South Bend, Ind. on Sept. 5, 1950.  He was the son of Jim and
Delta Blanton and Jean and the late Red Gadie.  He attended Coldwater
High School in Michigan.  He previously lived in Coldwater and had been
a resident of Warren County since 1981.  On June 19, 1983 he married
Joanna Lynn Brutus in Pine Village, Ind.  She survives.…

L. Brannon, 79, of Flat Rock died at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor
as the result of an auto accident on Wednesday, September 10, 2008.

E. Smith, age 59, of Adrian, passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at St.
Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. He was born on Sept. 10, 1949, in
Toledo, Ohio, the son of Emery Robert and Vivian (Skaggs) Smith. After
graduating from Rossford High School with the Class of 1967, he
attended Bowling Green State University before completing his Bachelor
of Education and Music degree at Siena Heights University. On July 22,
