He was born Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, in Sturgis, a son of Joshua Webster and Tiffany Gose of Sturgis. He was born Aug. 25, 1975, in St. Joseph, Mich., a son of David T. & Dianna (Cote) McNealy Simmons. Brian had resided in the Sturgis and Bronson area his whole life. Catherine was born on Jan. 1, 1934, in Meridian, Mississippi, the daughter of Price and Ann Liza (Edwards) Silas. Catherine was married to Elmo Moses Lewis who passed away in 1965. On March 11, 1982, she married Albert Sheffield, Jr. He preceded her in death in 2004.           Charles “Chuck” Valentine Komon, age 65, of Britton passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at his home. He was born October 27, 1942, in Detroit to Charles and Anne (Prochaska) Komon. He was married to Marilyn Gerych. Chuck graduated from St. Elizabeth’s Catholic School in 1956 and then from Britton-Macon School in 1960. He then went on to play basketball at Adrian College.             Clarence A. Naylor, 90, of Columbus, Ohio, and formerly of LaGrange, Ind, died Aug. 7, 2008 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 13, at the Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange until the funeral service at 3 p.m. with Rev.                   Duane Kuipers, age 72, of Holland, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2008, in Hospice House of Holland after a brief struggle with cancer. He was preceded in death by a son, Mitchell Kuipers, in 1994.
